Ever since Wally Wood was the artist for Justice Society, her cleavage window and bust line was a little nod to the fans that Power Girl had that little something extra to make her memorable - a sense of humor!

(Wally Wood even started drawing her with a larger and larger bust in for a few issues to see how much he could sneak past the editors at the time - look it up!)

It is so much a part of her character that every artist or writer has at least once used the joke

"My eyes are up here!"

Nowadays she just rolls her eyes when the joke happens, but it's as much her signature as Schwarzenegger's "I'll be back..."
